Ingredients of Eggless Oatmeal Cookies without Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats (use old-fashioned oats for the best texture)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Milk (or as needed)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (optional, for added warmth)
  • 1/4 cup Add-ins - raisins, dried cranberries, or chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
  1. Oven Preheating Step (1)Preheat the oven at 350°F (175°C). Parchment-line a baking sheet or silicone mat.
  2. Mixing Dry Ingredients (1)Mix Dry Ingredients In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, rolled oats, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon (if using).
  3. Mixing Dry Ingredients (1)Cream Butter and Sugar In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy and well combined. You may use a hand or stand mixer for this stage.
  4. Add Wet Ingredients Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until the mixture adopts a smooth and creamy texture.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in Add-insIf using raisins, dried cranberries, or chocolate chips, fold them into the dough while taking care to keep the mixture intact.
  7. Shape Cookies Scoop dough into balls about 1.5 inches across, and place on the baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  8. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are pale golden brown. The centers might look a little underbaked, but they will firm as the cookies cool.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes; then place on a wire rack to cool completely.
